I Don’t Have 64 Bank Accounts – Lagos Speaker, Obasa

Mudashiru Obasa, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has debunked a report by Sahara Reporters that he has 64 bank accounts linked to his Bank Verification Number (BVN).
The medium had claimed that Obasa had opened the accounts operated under different names to siphon money from the state government’s purse.
However, Obasa told PM News that the story is false and the publisher is simply doing the bidding of his pay master.
“We have debunked several of its publication and we don’t want to reply him again,” he said.
The speaker said most of the numbers and names being published by Sahara Reporters were duplicated. He added that he was preparing to take legal action against the publisher and the outlet.
Earlier, Sahara Reporters alleged that  the BVN: 2296663231, reveals that Obasa operated accounts with multiple names in Polaris Bank, Zenith Bank, Access Bank, Ecobank Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, United Bank for Africa, First City Monument Bank and Wema Bank. It said he had used names such as Obasa Abdulrahman Gbadunola and Gabriel Adedoyin Savage to register some of the bank accounts.
