CAF, NFF Pay Tribute To Stephen Keshi On Fourth Year Of Death Anniversary

Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the Nigerian Football Federal (NFF), on Sunday, joined others to pay tributes to late Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, on the fourth anniversary of his death.
Keshi, who was popularly known by many football lovers as the ‘Big Boss’, died in June 2016 at the age of 54 in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
He was the only Nigerian coach to have won the Africa Cup of Nations, and also achieved a rare feat of becoming the second person to win the trophy both as a player and coach in 2013, after Mahmoud El-Gohary of Egypt.
He represented Nigeria in 1982 at the age of 20, till 1994, when he captained the Eagles to triumph in Tunisia for the second time on the continent.
