Former Minister Jubril Martin-Kuye Is Dead

A former Nigerian Minister and Senator in the third republic, Jubril Martins-Kuye has died at the age of 80.

Martins-Kuye died on Sunday at his residence in Ago-Iwoye in Ogun State.

The news was confirmed by the Senator representing Ogun East, Lekan Mustapha, who described the death of the elder statesman as a big blow to Ogun and Nigeria.

He said, “he was a mentor and a pathfinder.”

Martins-Kuye served as the Nigerian Minister of Commerce and Industry.
