Why I Relocated To The US – Eldee The Don

Veteran Nigerian rapper, Lanre Dabiri, popularly known as Eldee The Don, has explained why he left the country.
Eldee relocated to the United States of America with his wife and children a few years ago.

While reacting to a concern raised by Nigerian singer, Simi, over how unsecure the country has become, he revealed that one of the major reasons why he left the country was because of his physical, social, and mental health.

“I used to be so hopeful for Nigeria, but now, just driving on the streets gives me anxiety. Seeing police officers with guns gives me anxiety. Someone suddenly walking up to me gives me anxiety. Hate it here,” Simi had said in a social media post.

Replying, Eldee said:

“This is a major part of why I left. I was hopeful too, I love her still but I love my physical, social and mental health more. Tough decision but the best so far.”
