In a continued display of commitment to education accessibility, Honorable Soji Adetunji, Honourable member of the House of Representatives representing Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency of Osun State, has once again extended a lifeline to students in need.
Following his earlier initiative in January, where he secured free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms for 100 students in his federal constituency, Hon. Soji Adetunji has now widened his support by awarding additional 120 UTME scholarships to indigent students drawn from Odo Otin, Boripe, and Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Adetunji reiterated the importance of education as a tool for societal transformation, emphasizing that investing in the youth today paves the way for a brighter future for the entire nation.
“This move not only alleviates the financial burden on the students and their families but also serves as a catalyst for academic excellence and social mobility in Osun State,” he emphasized.
Reacting, a parent of one of the beneficiaries lauded the lawmaker for the philanthropic act, commending his steadfast dedication to uplifting the educational landscape of Osun State and ensuring that every aspiring student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams without hindrance.
