Empowerment: Rep Soji Adetunji Doles out N10m to Constituents

Filled with praises and jubilation, constituents of IBO federal constituency today expressed their joy as lawmaker representing Odo-Otin, Ifelodun and Boripe federal constituency, Rep Soji Abidemi Adetunji empowered selected beneficiaries across the three local government areas.

The event which took place today Saturday 30th March, 2024 at his Federal constituency Office, Ikirun, Ifelodun Local government area of Osun state was the maiden empowerment program by the honourable member, where a sum of N10m was disbursed to several beneficiaries.

In his opening address, Rep Soji Adetunji admonished the beneficiaries to seize the opportunity and make judicious use of the fund , urging them to make the empowerment serve as a catalyst for their aspirations and limitless potential that resides within each of them.

He reaffirmed his committment to his constituents, assuring them that the empowerment will be in various phases as everyone in the constituency will be captured irrespective of age, status, religion and party affiliation.

While speaking, Osun PDP secretary and a former Ifelodun Local government chairman, Prince Bola Ajao commended the lawmaker for the unprecedented initiative.

He described him as a silent achiever and a politician with an uncommon approach to governance and politics, urging members of IBO federal constituency not to subscribe to disinformation from mischief-makers.

Presenting the cheques to beneficiaries, Osun Central Senatorial Leader, Alhaji Hon. Tunde Abesin also lauded Rep Soji Adetunji for being a man of his word. He however, charged him not to relent in ensuring that his federal constituency feels the impact of government through various constituency projects.

The beneficiaries in a gleeful mood expressed their appreciation to Rep Soji Adetunji for being a result oriented lawmaker and one faithful to campaign promises. They also prayed that he succeeds in his journey.
