COVID-19: Presidency Releases 70,000 Tonnes Of Grains For Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the release of 70,000 metric tonnes of grains from the National Grain Reserve to be distributed to the poor and vulnerable Nigerians as a result of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country.
This was disclosed in a post on Twitter by the Presidency on Wednesday.
According to the Presidency, the measure is part of the palliative measures mentioned by President Buhari in his address on Sunday to Nigerians over the pandemic.
It explained that the grains will be given to people classified as poor and vulnerable in states affected by the lockdown order.
