98-year-old Woman, 25 Other COVID-19 Patients Discharged In Lagos

A 98-year-old woman in Lagos State who contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has now fully recovered and has been discharged.
This was disclosed in a post on Twitter by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, on Wednesday.
According to Governor Sanwo-Olu, the woman is the oldest coronavirus patient recorded in the state so far.
He also noted that 25 other patients – 13 males and 12 females – were discharged from the various isolation centres in the state, adding that they are all Nigerians.

Today, we discharged a 98 year old woman, our oldest patient in Lagos. She joined 25 others; 13 males and 12 females, discharged from our isolation centres after testing negative for , bringing the total of our successfully managed and discharged patients to 528.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said six patients from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 11 from Onikan, and nine from LUTH isolation centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.
This brings the total number of recovered and discharged cases in the state to 528.
