Why Africa Is Poor – Kingsley Moghalu
A former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu, has highlighted reasons Africa remains a poor continent.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2019 elections, said the continent is focused on doing without thinking. He added that “we run round in circles, focused on “practical” activity that achieves nothing, motion without progress.”
Africa is poor bcos we focus on “doing” without thinking. We run round in circles, focused on “practical” activity that achieves nothing, motion without progress. Great countries are driven by: 1) ideas; 2) intellect; 3) philosophy; 4) strategy; 5) policy; 6) execution discipline

That’s it. No leader should apologize for being a visionary or an intellectual, especially if he or she has a performance track record that speaks for itself. So to all these “blowing grammar” types, I say:”kwantinu”, but don’t wonder why your country is poor, insecure, divided.
