Wenger Advises PSG Not To Sign Messi From Barcelona
Former Arsenal manager, Arsenal Wenger, has advised Paris St Germain against signing Lionel Messi from Barcelona.
Wenger said Messi is huge investment and that investment should be spent on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe instead.
He said this following the 4-1 loss Barcelona suffered at the hands of PSG in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
Wenger told beIN Sports: “That is another question because Lionel Messi demands huge investment.
“I would say PSG should be more focused on keeping their two best players and invest all the money they have in these two players.
“Mbappe is 22, the best player in the world may be or the future best player in the world. When you have the next two best players in the world, you keep them.”
