Shehu Abdullahi Happy To Be Back In Bursaspor Training
Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi is delighted to be back in training with his Turkish clubside Bursaspor after the weeks in the lockdown.
The Turkish football season was suspended indefinitely by the authorities following the widespread coronavirus pandemic, but teams are now allowed back in training with the hope of finishing the season.
Shehu Abdullahi and his Bursaspor teammates return to training on Saturday, but it was still under strict conditions.
The former Kano Pillars and Plateau United player, said in a social media post that he’s happy that the team is back in training.
“We are back in training, the world is gradually winning over #Covid_19. I’m delighted, work is back. I appreciate your support and motivation. Keep safe and stay alive!”
The 27 year old who has scored four goals for his team this season is determined to help the team gain promotion back to the top flight at the end of the current season.
Meanwhile Bursaspor are third on the Turkish league one table with 46 points from 28 matches, before the league was put on hold.
