Sanwo-Olu Hails Aisha Buhari, Calls Her A Courageous Woman

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari as she marks her 50th birthday.
Sanwo-Olu in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Gbenga Akosile, described Aisha Buhari as a courageous woman.

He said the First Lady has touched the lives of millions since 2015 when her husband attained office.

”As an advocate of women’s and children rights, your campaign for young girls to get primary and secondary school education before getting married has yielded positive results in the country,” Sanwo-Olu said.

The Governor said Aisha’s ‘Future Assured’ has continued advocacy work for the health and well-being of women and children through community mobilisation and health promotion.

”On the political turf, your ideas and contributions on national issues are of good use. You have displayed courage and bravery on many occasions to show your passion for a better Nigeria,” he said.
