Rotary Club Honours Osun Federal Lawmaker
House of Representatives member, Odo-Otin Ifelodun Boripe Federal Constituency, Rep Soji Adetunji has received a Distinguished Ambassador of Positive Development award by Rotary Club of Ibadan Gold, District 9126.
The accolade was presented yesterday during the investiture and fundraising program marking the installation of RTN Fasina Oyewole Kazeem as the 4th President of the club, as well as induction of new members and new board at World Lilies Event Centre, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Presenting the award to Rep. Soji Adetunji on behalf of the club, RTN Fasina Oyewole Kazeem commended the federal lawmaker for his substantial efforts in contributing to societal growth and development, urging him not to rest on his oars.

The award presentation highlights the Rotary Club’s mission to honor individuals who exemplify leadership, integrity, and a dedication to the betterment of the society.
Meanwhile, Rep. Adetunji expressed his gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to serving his constituency and the nation at large by driving further development initiatives, while also promising Rotary Club of Ibadan Gold his support whenever the need arises.
Speaking earlier at the event, the guest speaker, Barrister Abiodun Adediran Olatunji SAN charged Nigerians to look after their neighbours at this time when there is hardship in the country, as a way to support the government in its effort to bring relief to hardship faced by citizens.
Reacting to the supreme court ruling on local government autonomy, Barrister Abiodun Adediran lauded the Judiciary for the landmark judgment that granted full autonomy to the local government, saying the best way to foster a better environment is to bring government closer to the people.
