Rivers Hotel Demolition: Fani-Kayode Breaks Silence
Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to the demolition of two hotels in by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for flouting his lockdown directive.
He said Wike could have simply shut the hotels and arrest its owners rather than opt for the total demolition of the structures.
Two hotels demolished in Port Harcourt because they violated the Governor’s executive order on Covid 19?
The Governor did not see fit to simply close down the hotels and arrest the culprits but instead he KNOCKED them both down?
I am utterly amazed!

Wike’s action has attracted knocks from some prominent persons in the country.
In a tweet on Sunday, Omoyele Sowore, convener of the RevolutionNow movement, had said Wike will not go unpunished for his actions.
Also, Ralph Uwazuruike, leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), had described the governor as stupid and useless, saying he was acting like an emperor in the state.
