PSG Will Welcome Eriksen, Delle Alli, Messi Others – Pochettino
Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Lionel Messi are some of the players that Mauricio Pochettino can lure to PSG this transfer window.
Mauricio Pochettino, who just took charge of Paris Saint-Germain, has said that he is not yet in a position to comment on signings. Responding to whether he would sign Eriksen, he said;
“This is not the time to comment on rumours, we just arrived a few days ago. We are monitoring the recovery of our injured players, we are talking with Leonardo (sporting director) and it is true that a club like PSG is looking at all the possibilities it has, all the more so with this complicated period linked to the health crisis.”
These ‘possibilities’ likely include the out-of-favour Danish superstar. Eriksen had been unable to find a permanent place at Inter Milan under Antonio Conte since he joined the club in January 2020.
Additionally, given that Pochettino was his manager at Tottenham when he seemed to be at his best; Eriksen may also be willing to join PSG at an adjusted fee.
Besides Eriksen, there are reports that Lionel Messi and Dele Alli are also on PSG’s radar. The Barcelona talisman can start considering transfer options before his contract ends in June 2021.
Speculations surrounding Dele Alli are, however, a bit trickier. This is because Tottenham have insisted that the Englishman will not be sold.
For now, Pochettino says he has to focus on the clash against Saint-Etienne on Wednesday, 6 January 2021. News on Paris Saint-Germain transfer activities will come in the future.
