Presidential Election Tribunal: PDP Forum confident of Atiku’s victory

The Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidates in the last general election has expressed confidence that the opposition party will emerge victorious at the ongoing Presidential Elections Tribunal.

The forum urged members of the party nationwide to remain calm as they await the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC)

Engineer Ahmed Rufa’i Dagumawa, who is the chairman of the forum, made the declaration while addressing a news conference at the NUJ Press Centre, Kano State, on Tuesday, August 1.

According to him:

“We are expecting a very positive and good verdict that would enhance the dignity of the judicial system of this country.”

The group expressed its high hopes that the court would do the needful in its verdict as the judiciary is the last hope of the common man in Nigeria.

On the alleged division among members of the PDP in the State, the Forum said it was not aware of any faction within the ranks of the party.
