Presidency Welcomes Cardi B’s Plan To Acquire Nigerian Citizenship
Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), has welcomed the decision of US rapper, Cardi B, to apply for Nigerian citizenship.
A US airstrike on Friday, killed Iran’s Revolutionary Guard commander, General Qassem Soleimani, who is head of the elite Quds Force in Baghdad, Iraq.
Iran has vowed to avenge Soleimani’s death, saying those responsible will pay a “high price.”
In her reaction, Carbi B said President Donald Trump has put the lives of American citizens in danger, adding that she would be filling for Nigerian citizenship.
Abike Dabiri, chairman of NIDCOM, took to Twitter, calling on the singer to come back to Nigeria.
She wrote: “As one in charge of the Diaspora for Nigeria, We can’t wait to receive you again. Our doors are open, sister.
“And you need to take a walk through the Door of Return in Badagry . It’s an indescribable experience.”
