Peter Obi Still The Candidate for a Better Nigeria – Obasanjo Declares
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has said the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last general election, Peter Obi, remains the candidate for a better Nigeria.
Epiczone.ng reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the then-candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress and now-president, Bola Tinubu, as the winner of the February 25 Presidential election.
Tinubu’s announcement was followed up by legal suits from the opposition parties and their candidates, including LP and Obi, questioning the process that made Tinubu the winner of the election.
During a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, former president Obasanjo opined that despite President Tinubu being declared as the winner of the last election, Obi is still the candidate that the country needs to move forward.
Obasanjo said his greatest legacy is that he came on earth and God was immeasurably king to him by showing him grace.
