Pastor David Ibiyeomie Reveals Why He Can’t Pay 10% Tithe to God

Salvation Ministries Pastor, David Ibiyeomie shared his opinion about the payment of tithes declaring that he cannot pay the mandatory 10 per cent tithe.

The man of God declared that God would flog him if he pays 10 per cent as his tithe.

Ibiyeomie made the statement while addressing his church members on Sunday, June 25, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He described the refusal to pay tithe as a form of greed maintaining that people who don’t tithe find life very difficult to live.

Ibiyeomie said: “In fact, these days, I don’t even pay ten; my P.A. is there. I pay far beyond ten for every money I get.

“That is what you are struggling to pay as tithe; me I pay more than ten per cent as offering.

“My tithe is not fifteen per cent, I won’t tell you the percentage, I’m on another level. I won’t tell you what I pay as tithe. If I pay ten per cent, God will flog me.

“Me, pay tithe of ten per cent for what? You pay ten per cent, that’s the recommended one, but me, I’m at another level.”
