NFF Supports Stanley Nwabali With N20m For Late Parents’ Burial
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has supported the Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali by donating N20M to assist in the burial arrangements for his late parents.
The football photographer, Pooja on his X handle revealed that the federation had sent N20M to the goalie to support in the burial ceremony.
Recall that Nwabali recently lost his father, and a few months later, his mother also passed away, plunging the footballer into a period of deep mourning
The NFF had earlier sent condolences after the death of his father, with its President, Mohammed Sanusi, describing the passing of a parent as a deeply sorrowful experience.
Following the death of Nwabali’s mother, the federation again extended its sympathies, urging him to stay strong during such a painful time.
Nwabali has also been granted compassionate leave and was excused from the Super Eagles’ trip to Russia following both tragedy.
