Napoli set to include anti-Saudi clause in Victor Osimhen’s new contract
Italian Serie A side, Napoli’s president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, is considering inserting two release clauses in Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen’s new contract.
The first clause in the forward’s new deal will be for European teams, while the second will be for Saudi Arabian clubs, according to Sky Sports Italia.
The league champions are currently negotiating a new contract with the Super Eagles talisman.
Osimhen, who is expected to sign a new two-year contract, is hoping for a pay rise, following his importance to the club and his performances since he joined the Serie A champions.
The striker’s representatives are pushing for a €110m release clause, whilst the club wants a minimum of €150m.
Napoli have reportedly rejected two staggering offers from Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal for Osimhen this summer.
