JUST IN: Another Chef Eyes Guinness World Record, Begins 150hrs Cookathon in Ondo

A chef from Ondo state, Adeoye Adeyolu Blessing, has started her mission to break the world record for the longest cooking hours by an individual held by her compatriot, chef Hilda Baci.

Adeoye new ambition is coming after a similar attempt was made by Damilola Adeparusi, a 300 level Federal University, Oye student who recorded 120 hours of cook-a-thon but her effort was not registered with the Guiness World Record.

Nigerians have picked up interest in Chef Adeoye’s ambition and have been streaming the Ondo chef’s 150-hour Cook-a-thon live video session to see how far she can go in breaking Hilda’s record.

Despite the controversy trailing her mission, the Ondo State chef remains determined to break the record, as she claims to have been preparing intensely for the cook-a-thon.

Hilda Baci, a chef from Akwa Ibom, holds the record for the longest cooking marathon, and recently got her certification from the Guinness World Record having cooked for 100 hours but got verified for 93 hours and 11 minutes straight.
