Ghana Arrests 19 Nigerians

Reports in Ghanaian media claim the police have busted 19 Nigerians trying to sneak into the country.

It is understood that the Nigerian migrants were headed to Madina from Aflao when they were arrested.

This comes bare days after some fleeing Nigerian prisoners were arrested in Ghana and repatriated to their country.

The Ghana police service has been on red alert since April 5, when it was announced that almost 2000 prisoners had escaped from prison in the southeastern city of Owerri.

The suspects, along with the driver and mate of the bus, have been handed over to the Immigration officials in Lower Manya for further investigation.
