Fraud Alert: Folorunso Alakija Raises Alarm On Social Media

Nigeria’s richest woman, Folorunso Alakija has dissociated herself from a fund-raising platform Helping Hands Investment.

In a disclaimer she issued on Wednesday, Mrs Alakija said she has no relationship with the platform and that she doesn’t solicit for funds through social media.

“Please note that these messages did not originate from me and I have no dealings with the said imitative or organisation. I do not solicit for funds on social media. I have also never called for donations to be made for initiatives I support through any social media platform or channel,” the 6-9-year-old mogul posted on social media.

She also disclosed that security experts were investigating the case.
