Federico Chiesa’s Strike Enough To Hand AC Milan 1st Serie A Defeat
Juventus beat AC Milan thanks to a sensational Federico Chiesa performance as the Serie A leaders stumbled to their first loss of the season.
AC Milan had played 15 games in the Serie A this season without a single loss. Their unbeaten run came to an end on Wednesday, 6 January 2021 when fourth-placed Juventus handed the San Siro landlords their first defeat.

AC Milan levelled thanks to a Davide Calabria strike from the edge of the box but this did not dampen Juve’s spirit and they continued to press. Meanwhile, Milan also surged forward to keep their visitors on their heels.
Chiesa finally shifted the momentum in The Old Ladies favour when he found the back of the net in the 60th minute. With a loss imminent, Milan struggled and were finally done for with a McKennie 76th minute strike.

Juve’s leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo endured an unusually quiet game despite playing the whole 90 minutes.
Despite the loss, AC Milan still leads the Serie A standings with one point. Inter Milan will be unhappy that they had lost all three points to Sampdoria earlier in the day, missing an important opportunity to go top.
Juventus are seven points away from the top but they have a game in hand; a potentially tough game against Napoli.
