CKay’s Love Nwantiti Hits 1 Billion Streams on Spotify

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as CKay becomes the first Nigerian singer to have a single song with over a billion Spotify listens for his smash hit, ‘Love Nwantiti.’

The Warner Records signee appears to have done a lot in the last year, with his global smash song ‘Love Nwantiti ‘Ah Ah Ah’ gaining multiple certifications around the world and being the first African artist to surpass 30 million monthly Spotify listeners.

The original and all remixes have surpassed one billion Spotify streams three years after the debut of the original track.

The song was initially published in 2019 as part of CKay’s album ‘CKay The First.’

The song has been certified 3x Platinum in Canada after selling over 240,000 units. It is certified Gold in Denmark after selling over 45,000 units. It is certified Platinum in Poland after selling over 50,000 units. It is certified Gold in Spain after selling over 20,000 units.

Also, it is certified Platinum in the United States after selling over 1,000,000 units, Platinum in the United Kingdom after selling over 600,000 units, and Platinum in Italy after selling over 70,000 units.
