Chelsea Fans Go Gaga Over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Transfer Link

Chelsea supporters have gone crazy on social media over speculation that five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo could be joining the Blues.
Manager Frank Lampard is looking to get his summer business done early having already signed Ajax ace Hakim Ziyech and triggered RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner’s release clause.
The Blues have been linked with a host of other rising stars across Europe, including Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz.
But the latest rumour has Chelsea fans in a frenzy as there is a suggestion they could land Ronaldo.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid attacker has two years remaining on his Juventus contract.
However, some Chelsea fans are dreaming of the 35-year-old running out at Stamford Bridge next year.
One fan tweeted: “Wait is Ronaldo coming to Chelsea??”
Another wrote: “Cristiano Ronaldo to Chelsea here we go.”
Meanwhile, saner Blues supporters are not buying talk of Ronaldo’s proposed move to Stamford Bridge.
“The idea Ronaldo going to Chelsea is comical,” one supporter said.
Another added: “Buying a washed out Ronaldo for the same price that you could get a future ballon d’or winner in Sancho is such a Chelsea thing to do.”
A third commented: “Of course it is, don’t see Chelsea paying £120m for a 35 year old yes it’s Ronaldo but for that money plus age I doubt it.”
And another wrote: “Chelsea have been linked with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Yes you read that correctly. Yes it is time to log off this app for the day.”
It remains to be seen what comes out of the rumour. For now though, Chelsea fans can only dream.
