Barry Jhay Reportedly Arrested In Ghana Over Kashy’s Death
Nigerian budding artist, Barry Jhay has reportedly been arrested over the death of his record label boss, Kashy Godson.
Kashy, the CEO of Cash Nation entertainment, died in the early hours of Sunday, March 7 in Ghana.
Although the cause of his death was yet unknown, some yet to be confirmed reports claim the record label boss died by suicide by falling off the balcony of a building while other reports allege that he was pushed of the building.
Hours before his death, a video of bloodied Barry Jhay surfaced on the internet, saying;
See the way this guy beat me. I didn’t do anything, I was recording. I’m done with Kash Nation.
According to multiple reports, Kashy and Jhay were in a fight that escalated into a physical clash where Kashy punched his signee in the mouth and left him injured.
Hours after the video emerged, news of Kashy’s death was reported and, according to Pulse, Barry Jhay has been arrested in Ghana by the police.
Barry Jhay got signed under Cash Nation in 2019 after his fallout with Kizz Daniel.
In 2020, late Cash Nation CEO was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged involvement in cybercrime.
