APC Crisis: Today, Saraki Is Laughing – Dino Melaye

Dino Melaye, a former senator, has said Bukola Saraki, the immediate past Senate President, is the individual having the last laugh currently following recent happenings in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Melaye, who represented Kogi West Senatorial district in the eighth National Assembly, said this in a post on Twitter in reaction to the dissolution of the National Working Committee of the APC.
Adams Oshiomhole, who headed the now-dissolved APC NWC as national chairman, was embroiled in a political battle with both Saraki and Melaye.
The political battle eventually forced the duo of Saraki and Melaye defect from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in August 2018.
To accentuate his point, the former Kogi federal lawmaker on Saturday posted a video of him speaking at the valedictory session of the eighth assembly in an apparent reference to Oshiomhole’s sacking as APC chairman.
Melaye said in the video that Saraki successfully completed his tenure as Senate President despite the political travail he faced in the hands of the seat of power and the state, including cases at courts and the Code of Conduct Bureau.
He added that it was Saraki’s time to laugh.
