Attorney General Tests Positive For COVID-19

Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, Attorney General of Nasarawa State, has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Daily Trust, the state’s commissioner for health, Yahaya Ahmed, confirmed the development in a telephone conversation on Thursday.
“I can confirm that Dr. Kana is in self-isolation at home and is in a stable condition. We are taking care of him,” Ahmed was quoted as saying.
Kana is a member of the state Task Force on COVID-19.
It was learnt how he contracted the virus is not known, as he is said to have been
observing safety protocols such as wearing of face mask, washing of hands, and usage of hand sanitizer.
